It contains ingredients with beneficial properties for the respiratory organs and can be taken daily. Of course, not only the lungs benefit from this syrup, but the whole organism.
Even if you don’t smoke or vape actively or passively, your lungs are inevitably exposed to polluted air and respiratory viruses. It is necessary to take care of them through a natural diet and with preparations such as this cleansing drink.
THREE INGREDIENTS GOOD FOR THE LUNGS
The three main components of the syrup are turmeric, ginger and onion. All three have outstanding properties and an extremely positive effect on lung tissue and overall health.
Each of the three foods produces a health benefit on its own. However, when combined, their effects seem to multiply, particularly for the lungs.
The healthier you eat, the better your lungs will be, the better they can protect themselves from harmful influences and the better they can recover and regenerate.

2. GINGER TO PROTECT THE LUNGS
Ginger, although spicy, is often used to treat digestive problems such as nausea and stomach ulcers. In addition, ginger has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that can protect the lungs.
Its pungent substances also help in the removal of mucus and pollutants from the lungs. Since it has a relaxing effect on the bronchial muscles, ginger is also a useful measure for asthma.
3. ONIONS AGAINST LUNG CANCER AND RESPIRATORY ALLERGIES
The onion contains compounds such as quercetin with such a positive effect on lung health that in English-speaking countries it is said: “One onion a day keeps lung cancer away.”
A University of Hawaii study of more than 1,000 people (half were healthy, the other half had lung cancer) showed that onions, apples and grapefruits can protect against lung cancer.
The more onions a person had in their diet, the less likely they were to be found among lung cancer patients. Just 20 g of onions per day halved the risk.
Quercetin from onion also inhibits the release of histamine, so it can be used as a natural allergy sufferer.

- Add ginger and onions to boiling water.
- Add turmeric (as well as fat and pepper) and reduce heat to medium-low.
- Let the mixture simmer until its volume has been reduced by half.
- After some time, pass the mixture through a thin strainer to a resealable glass jar and let it cool to room temperature.
- When the drink has cooled it looks like a syrup; It’s time to close it and store it in the fridge.
WHEN AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU TAKE THE SYRUP?
Take two tablespoons of natural lung syrup twice a day, preferably two hours before or after a meal, for example in the morning and afternoon.
The amount given in the prescription is enough for about 14 days. If you have not finished it, do not keep it any longer.
OTHER FORMS OF APPLICATION ARE ALSO POSSIBLE
The pulmonary syrup recipe was created to make the daily intake of all three ingredients as easy and tasty as possible. However, you can also consume turmeric, ginger and onion in other ways without any problems.
The onion you already know how to use it, because it is a very Mediterranean ingredient, but cooking with ginger and turmeric is not so common. Ginger, for example, can be grated to add to salads or vegetable dishes. Or you can simply put a piece of ginger in hot water and drink the resulting infusion without straining it first.
Turmeric can be used as a condiment in rice dishes and legume dishes. To better absorb curcumin, it should be taken combined with pepper. You can also resort to curry mixes.
